Many of you who have used the Burris Oracle X scope are aware that the scope mount is rather unique in that there’s no rings to rotate the scope for plumbing the crosshairs.  However, it does have an adjustable mount that allows one to push the scope to the front or rear to obtain the proper eye relief.   Nonetheless, If you need to push it all the way forward like me, you’ll find it’s weak spot because of a large diameter hole drilled in the dovetail slot.   Hence, I developed a scope rail extension specifically designed for Ravin R10 that strengthens this weak spot as shown in the attached video.  The scope rail extension also comes with 2 sets of brackets so that it can be useful even to folks who don’t have to push the scope all the way forward.
 
Because the OX is so bulky and heavy, I have found this scope rail extension that mounts to the Ravin bridge in the front will indeed help to mimic a long extended scope rail like is found on their R26/R29 models.
